Yahoo News Exclusive: Neighbours confirms new regular as Richie Morris lands role of Levi Canning

Neighbours bosses are bringing in a new member of the Canning family, Digital Spy can exclusively reveal.
Richie Morris has landed the role of Levi Canning, who's the grandson of Sheila (Colette Mann) and cousin of Kyle (Chris Milligan).
Levi is a police officer, who'll be joining Ramsay Street on Australian screens later this month. He'll start appearing on UK screens from Monday, July 6.

Speaking about his new role, Richie commented: "Being a part of the Cannings is so humbling because they are such a fun and iconic family on Ramsay Street, which provides not only loads of drama but also so much humour. I couldn't ask for more.
"Plus, I get to work and learn from both Chris and Colette, who I idolise."
Colette Mann also commented on Levi's arrival, joking: "Richie is a terrific young man who came into the show as a serious young actor, but Chris Milligan and I have beaten him into a Canning with a great sense of humour about himself and as loud as the rest of us."
Richie, 21, has relocated to Melbourne from Sydney for Neighbours, which is his first major television role.

The actor trained at the Sydney Theatre School and Sydney Film School. He has previously appeared in a number of theatre productions, short films and TV commercials.
Away from the acting world, Richie is also a keen martial arts practitioner. He has trained extensively in kick boxing and boxing for the past five years, as well as judo, wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu more recently.
Digital Spy can confirm that Levi is a new regular character for the long-running show.
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
