Exclusive: Neighbours star Majella Davis shares Krista's terror over villain's return

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours star Majella Davis has warned of a "terrifying" shock for her character Krista Sinclair as Eden Shaw makes his return.

Krista heads off for a holiday with Leo Tanaka, David Tanaka, Aaron Brennan and Nicolette Stone this week – but Eden is lurking in the shadows to gatecrash the occasion.

Eden was last seen in November, when Haz Devkar and Holly Hoyland teamed up to get him arrested for his crimes.

In a new storyline twist, Eden is released on bail and confronts Krista and Leo while they're taking a walk during their break. Mysteriously, Eden reveals that he knows Krista is pregnant with his child – something she has been desperate to keep from him.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy about the storyline, Majella explained: "Krista is terrified. For all intents and purposes, Eden's in jail and she thought everything was fine for now, so I think seeing him is a massive shock and just overwhelming for Krista.

"It all happens so fast that there's not even really time to register how this is possible. He knows she's pregnant as well, which is just so terrifying for her."

Neighbours' cast and crew headed out on location to film these episodes mid-way through last year.

The storyline will provide a pivotal moment for the show, as one character won't return home from the holiday.

Show bosses have been keeping tight-lipped about whether the death is caused by Eden or Veronica McLain, who also turns up to disrupt the trip.

Majella told us: "We filmed it in the middle of winter, so it was very cold. We were up in the mountains at 6am, so that was very surreal. In the first scene that we shot, we were walking along the track and we all had these little hand warmers in our pockets and in our hands, just trying to keep warm.

"That was my first location shoot, besides going out onto the Lassiters rooftop, so that was very exciting. It was really cool to be out there with a great group of people as well."

Neighbours airs the dramatic holiday episodes on Wednesday, January 31 and Thursday, February 1.

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.
