Yahoo News Fabulous Fund Fair 2019: Natalia Vodianova, Brooklyn Beckham and Adwoa Aboah come out to support the Naked Heart Foundation
Stars including Brooklyn Beckham, Adwoa Aboah and Abbey Clancy came out on Monday night for Natalia Vodianova's annual Fabulous Fund Fair.
Now in its sixth year, the event is held to benefit the Naked Heart Foundation, a charity Vodianova launched in 2004 to help support the families of children with special needs.
Speaking to the Evening Standard ahead of the event, the 36-year-old said the charity was inspired by her sister Oksana. "They told my mother she would never live past 10 years old. She’s 30 and going strong. She’s as healthy physically as anyone else but has slight cerebral palsy and very severe autism. As a child I had never seen anyone with special needs other than my sister, because most families abandoned their children in a state institution, where they don’t really live long. Mortality rates for children such as Oksana in closed institutions are really high. Nothing can replace a family” she said.
The Naked Heart Foundation has now raised over £40 million for families in the UK, Russia and France. Monday night's Fair raised £800,000.
This year's event, which took place at Roundhouse, was themed around La Dolce Vita and included a replica Trevi Foundation.
Prizes were donated by fashion houses including Celine, Givenchy, Dior, Stella McCartney and Louis Vuitton, and could be won in themed designer booths manned by models including Leomie Anderson and Sam Rollinson.
Other guests included Vogue editor Edward Enninful, who came to the party with model Adut Akech, and Brooklyn Beckham, out for the second night in a row with his girlfriend Hana Cross.
Vodianova hosted the Fair with luxury retailer LusiaViaRoma.
