Faithless fiancés: the zodiac signs most likely to cheat at their bachelor or bachelorette party

Valentine’s Day is approaching, and studies show the heart-shaped holiday is second only to Christmas as the most popular day to propose.

With wedding planning comes bachelor and bachelorette parties where exotic dancers, d–k straws and jello shots become part of the ritual tableau of bidding farewell to sexual freedom.

For some, that farewell takes the form of infidelity.

The Post revealed that 70% of Americans have cheated on their partners whilst attending raucous bachelor or bachelorette parties.

Curious to know how pre-wedding cheating expresses itself through the zodiac, BonusFinder.com surveyed 6,000 Americans to find out which signs were most likely to engage in bad bachelor/bachelorette behavior.

1. CANCER (June 21 – July 22)

The study revealed that Cancers make for the most prolific cheaters with 79.3% of crab respondents admitting to cheating on their significant others at bachelor/ette parties (36.5% of men and 42.8% of women).

Some might be surprised that the maternal, caretaking Cancer is out here seeking the strange and saddling up to a side piece but remember that this moon-ruled water sign is notoriously bad at boundaries and generally freewheeling with the intoxicants.

Cancers are also easily swayed by feelings of fate and sometimes between the blur of neon lights and coconut rum, the mustached dude who wants to karaoke duet on “Shallow,” can look a whole lot like destiny.

Cancers also low-key LOVE to self-sabotage.

While it’s true that crabs love deep, if they feel unappreciated or unfulfilled in their primary relationship they have no problem finding comfort, company, and sexual communion with someone else and zero qualms justifying their betrayal as self-care.

2. TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)

Another surprising cheater is Taurus who came in second place with 78.6% of bull respondents admitting to cheating during a bachelor/bachelorette weekend. A sign traditionally associated with steadfast loyalty, that faithful reputation is owed to the fact that they rarely leave the house or exert the energy to cheat, it’s more about effort than ethics with this lot. When they do manage to make their way into the world at large, this is unequivocally the sign of the happy, horny hedonist on the loose.

Taurus is notorious (notaurious?) for staying in relationships long past the point of their prime, thus partnered bulls that step out at bachelor/bachelorette parties may be cheating on someone they’ve long ago stopped loving. Sigh.

3. LIBRA (September 23 – October 22)

Libra sleazes into third place with 77.5% of natives admitting to cheating during bachelor and bachelorette parties. This ranking is less of a shock as the sign of the scale and balances also made our list of the zodiac signs most likely to cheat on any given day.

The proof is in the celebrity scandal folk, as Mario Lopez, a card-carrying Libra famously cheated on his fiance, the bodacious ‘Doritos Girl’ Ali Landry at his bachelor party, held just days before their wedding.

A third of Libra respondents admitted their partner never found out about their naughty behaviors. Not the case for Lopez who was busted for his bad behavior when Landry tapped his phone and later had their marriage annulled.
