Fans 'question entire existence' as Bill Bailey shares dramatic hair transformation

Fans have expressed their shock after comedian Billy Bailey shared a photo of his 'new haircut'. Taking to his Instagram page, the former Strictly Come Dancing winner, who hails from Keynsham originally, captioned the photo: "Had a bit of a trim for the summer".

Known for his long-ish locks, the comedian's post garnered some 21,000 likes in the first three hours of going live - and his famous pals even shared their thoughts on his new look, too. Fellow comedienne, Dawn French, said: "May I just say... PHWOAR!"

To which Mr Bailey himself replied with: "May I say why thank you ma'am!" The star's former Strictly Come Dancing dance partner, Oti Mabuse, wrote: "I still cannot believe this!!! UNBELIEVABLE!"

Many of his fans expressed even more shock in the comments, however, with a number of them sad to see Bill's iconic hair-do gone. One wrote: "I'm fairly sure that this is one of the signs of the apocalypse", while a second said: "I have never been so shook by a haircut.

"Suits you, but also now questioning my existence. Who even am I without Bill Bailey's long hair." And a third added: "But now you won't be the 'bald guy with long hair'."

Meanwhile, Holby and Bel-Air actor, Jimmy Akingbola, commented: "Love this Bill! Definitely giving don't 'F&$K!' with me vibes." To which Bill Bailey simply responded: "Ha! Thanks Jimmy!"
