According to Johnsons of Old Hurst, it is "one of the few farm shops who provide a wide variety of home produced meats, which continues to grow year on year." The shop sells fresh produce including from their butchery, fresh fruits and vegetables, sweet indulgences, and thoughtful gifts.

But of course, it is a farm shop with a twist - a twist that involves lion teeth! Johnsons zoo has more than 100 animals of all different species from majestic African Lions to crocodiles, meerkats and so many more.

All in their own enclosures in a large outdoor area, you can spend hours seeing all of them and then enjoy the scenic woodland walks and a fun-filled playground.

After enjoying all the amazing animals, you can grab a quick tea in the tea room called The Eccentric Englishman. Selling freshly brewed tea, fresh coffee and homemade cakes, it is the last stop for that perfect chill end to an exciting day out with the whole family.

Or, if you want some proper big portions, you could go to the final gem of this place - the steakhouse. Here, you can enjoy the finest farm-fresh meat straight from the fields. Rather than just seeing the farm, here you can taste it too.
