Farmer Pulls Police Vehicle From Snow During Blizzard in North Dakota

The North Dakota Highway Patrol warned people in the southeastern part of the state to avoid travel on Monday, December 30, after a blizzard hit parts of North Dakota and Minnesota over the weekend.

In fact, police in Fargo showed themselves just how bad conditions were – with their patrol vehicle needing a tow from Paul Sip, a local farmer. “We spent most the day going around pulling out people,” Sip wrote on Instagram, where he posted this video. “Did over 20 vehicles.”

The City of Fargo said a no-travel advisory remained in effect for all of Fargo on Sunday night, and city offices and services would not open until 12 noon on Monday as a result of the severe weather.
