Father and Son 'Fight Back' Against Storm, May Need to Rethink Strategy

As ex-hurricane Ophelia made landfall in Ireland, October 16, people across the country were told to stay indoors. However, the Guilfoyles of Coolaney, in County Sligo, decided not to take Ophelia’s wrath lying down.

Ross Guilfoyle shared footage of his backyard where he and his son set up a fan, and, using a hose, the youngster sprays water right back in Ophelia’s direction.

Guilfoyle told Storyful that weather conditions were thankfully “not bad at all,” where he and his family are located at the time of writing, but should the winds seriously pick up he said “we’ll kick its ass.”
