Ferne McCann And Russell Brand Dated For Three Months

TOWIE star and I’m A Celebrity campmate Ferne McCann has revealed that she DID date Russell Brand.

Despite claiming he had no idea who Ferne was in 2013, the two reportedly enjoyed ‘secret trysts’ after their first rumoured romance link-up back in 2009.

The two apparently rekindled things when they met again on The Jonathan Ross Show in May, according to The Mirror.

Ferne’s now explained exactly what went on between the two, admitting they did date for a few months.

According to The Mirror, she told OK! magazine: “I dated him for three months earlier this year between March and June. We first met a few years ago but we didn’t stay in touch, then earlier this year I literally bumped into him backstage at The Jonathan Ross Show.”

Adding that she let things ‘fizzle out’, Ferne said: “I remember him texting me on Shrove Tuesday saying he would send a horse and carriage to get me and bring me back to his house for pancakes. He was certainly very persistent!”

More recently, Ferne has been locked in romance rumours with fellow I’m A Celeb campmate George Shelley, who have been looking even cosier outside of the jungle than they did inside it.

In fact, the Union J member has since admitted that there is chemistry between them, also revealing that they had shared a little snog.

He said: “I do fancy Ferne and there is sexual chemistry. We kissed properly for the first time on Thursday night at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. We had a few drinks, got a bit drunk and had a cheeky snog.

“There is potential romance but we want to take it slow. It is weird not being with her 24/7. We both have separation anxiety and have been a bit soppy.”

He added to the Daily Star: “We’ve been texting, messaging and FaceTiming eachother all the time. I honestly love her to bits, I really do. But when you’re in the jungle all your emotions are heightened, just like they were on The X Factor.

“So we are trying to take it slow and work out what our feelings really are. We are trying to be mature. Maybe we should be young and just jump in but we want to make sure it’s the right thing.

“We just love each other’s company and want to spend all our time with each other.”
