In a matter of weeks Pretty Little Liars will officially reach its endgame (see what we did there?), and now we're starting to get an idea of how things are going to pan out.

Appearing at PaleyFest in Los Angeles, PLL's cast and crew let us in on some spoiler-y secrets and told us what fans can look forward to from the show's remaining 10 episodes.

Describing the final season as a "love letter to fans", executive producer I Marlene King promised that long-time followers of the Liars will be "satisfied" with the series' conclusion.

"I think that when shows end there's always a group of people who aren't happy about it, but I think the majority of people will be happy with the ending," King revealed (via Variety).

"We all worked so hard on it with the goal of satisfying fans with a proper ending to a show which has meant so much to so many people."

One of the show's stars, Shay Mitchell, is also eager to get the fans' reaction to the final episodes, adding: "I'm very excited for the show to air and to see the fans' reactions. I won't have to hold in any secrets anymore.

"The fans can expect to be completely shocked, but happy that all their questions will be answered."

But if fans don't end up loving PLL's farewell, then there is still the glimmering hope of a revival on the horizon. (Honest.)

Earlier this year, King admitted that there is potential scope for revisiting the show's "characters and worlds".

"It wasn't easy to say goodbye to this group of people but I kept saying, 'We'll find a way to bring these characters and this world back at some point in time'.

"I don't think it'll be in two years, but at some point in time," she teased.

Pretty Little Liars: Endgame returns April 18 to Freeform in the US and Netflix in the UK.
