Finance firm Broadstone launches new Birmingham base

A financial products consultancy has opened a new office in Birmingham city centre. Broadstone has launched the new base in the Mailbox.

The firm, which is headquartered in London, offers consultancy services in fields such as pensions, employee benefits, investments and insurance.

The new office is the firm's ninth across the UK and only its second in the Midlands, joining its operations in Redditch.

Broadstone said the launch had come in response to an increase in demand for its services and the high volume of people relocating to Birmingham from London each year.

Charities and investment director Rachel Titchen said: "Our new Birmingham city centre office will bring exciting opportunities as Broadstone continues to see strong growth across the Midlands region.

"We want to hire the brightest and best talent and Birmingham's thriving financial services sector makes it the right place to do that.

"A city centre location will boost our appeal to the 30,000 students who graduate from Birmingham's universities each year, with access to some of the best business schools in the world.

"We've listened to our clients and employees who find sustainable travel to Birmingham easier and are already excited by the opportunities for networking and collaboration afforded by being closer to the action.

"We are delighted to be not only creating easier travel opportunities but to be placed in such a fantastic new space in the heart of the city I'm so proud to call my home."

Head of Midlands advisory Jeremy Clack added: "The Birmingham office is an excellent addition to our existing operations in the Midlands.

"It marks our ninth office across the UK, reflecting our impressive growth over the past few years as we deepen our capabilities and diversify our offering across general insurance and credit risk, for example.

"This city centre location will give us a more accessible and visible presence for consulting with clients and prospects while providing a dynamic environment near major transport hubs for our team."
