Fire Crews Battle Mesquite Heat Fire as Temperatures Soar

Fire crews in central Texas battled the fast-moving Mesquite Heat Fire on Friday, May 20, as temperatures continued to soar to over 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Texas A&M Forest Service said this video was captured on Wednesday as the fire spread rapidly due to heavy winds, drought conditions and high temperatures.
