This is the dramatic moment Spanish firefighters rescued a completely naked man from the top of a six-storey high building.

He’d clambered up onto the rooftop of a Barcelona block of flats at around 10am Saturday morning.

Crews were called after passersby spotted him perched precariously in the Eixample neighbourhood.

He was standing up with his back to the street and arms raised into the sky - in what appeared to be a sun worshipping position.

There was not a stitch of clothing on his body.

Firefighters set up an inflatable on the ground below, so that it could cushion him in case he fell.

Rescuers then boarded a hydraulic platform to reach the man, who appeared oblivious to their arrival.

Crew members slowly crept up on him. They took him to a safer spot on the roof, before bringing him back down to the ground.

He was taken to hospital for a psychological evaluation, according to 20Minutos.

Police then entered his home, where they allegedly found narcotics. He will be questioned about the find and the incident once he is in a fit state.
