An Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service team attended two of the counties biggest biker events over the last week.

The Road Safety Biker down team promoted road safety to thousands of visitors at Cassington and Luggershall bike nights.

Biker down is a training course which focuses on reducing risk of being involved in a motorcycle collision, first aid, visibility when riding and dealing with emergency situations.

The fire and rescue service said "bikes and riders of modern, vintage and some unusual machines were in abundance" at the events.

It added: "We had a grand stand in prime position at both venues and were able to engage with a huge number of riders, promoting the importance of Biker down, IAM and Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents training."
