Fireworks Set Off in Boston Streets as Fans Celebrate Celtics Win

People were seen setting off small fireworks in Boston as basketball fans celebrated the Celtics’ victory over the Dallas Mavericks to win the NBA championship on Monday evening, June 17.

The win marked the Celtics’ 18th championship, the most in NBA history.

Video captured by William Breen shows fireworks being shot into the sky in Boston following the Celtics’ win, near the TD Garden arena where the game was played. “The streets were absolutely packed with excited fans. The vibes were through the roof as we all celebrated together,” he told Storyful.
