In case you've been living in a, erm, maze, the classic '90s show The Crystal Maze is returning for a Christmas celebrity special tonight (December 14) to raise money for Stand Up to Cancer.

The Channel 4 gameshow, fronted by Richard Ayoade, will be welcoming Paralympian and gold-medallist swimmer Ellie Simmonds as the team captain.

She's joined by Saturdays singer Mollie King (who was recently voted off BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing after making it through to the semi finals) and Made in Chelsea's Ollie Locke, as well as Murder in Successville actor Tom Davis and boxer Nicola Adams.

Jessica Hynes and Adam Buxton are also reprising their roles as The Knight and Jarhead respectively.

The Christmas special sees the Aztec, Medieval, Industrial, and Futuristic zones "festooned with festive frivolity".

But if you can't wait until tonight's show, here's your first look at Mollie King taking on the spinning Christmas pudding game – and it's not going well...

The Crystal Maze was revived in October 2016, with Stephen Merchant on hosting duties, for last year's Stand Up to Cancer.

Michelle Keegan, Rio Ferdinand, Sara Cox, Josh Widdecombe, and Jonnie Peacock were the celebrities who took part one year ago.

Since then, the likes of Vicky Pattison, Lydia Bright, Ore Oduba, Scarlett Moffatt, Joey Essex, Rylan Clark-Neal, and Andrea McLean have turned up for celebrity specials.

More than 30,000 people applied to go on the 2017 revival series that followed, most of whom would have probably done a better job than some teams...

The Crystal Maze airs tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm.
