Five Nights at Freddy's has confirmed a UK release date as the new trailer lands.
Directed by Emma Tammi and based on Scott Cawthon's video game series of the same name, Five Nights at Freddy's will hit UK and US cinemas on October 27.
According to its synopsis: "The film follows a troubled security guard as he begins working at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. While spending his first night on the job, he realizes the night shift at Freddy's won't be so easy to make it through."
The upcoming horror film sees The Hunger Games' Josh Hutcherson take on the role of the unfortunate security guard named Mike Schmidt as he starts a job at the abandoned pizzeria — only to discover some sinister animatronics.
Starring alongside Hutcherson are Scream actor Matthew Lillard, You star Elizabeth Lail, Unstable's Piper Rubio Kat, 9-1-1 star Conner Sterling and Fried Green Tomatoes actress Mary Stuart Masterson.
While the film's teaser trailer gave fans a glimpse at the deadly animatronics named Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy, the full-length trailer offers an even closer look at the menacing gang from Jim Henson's Creature Shop as they wreak havoc on Mike and his young daughter.

Back when the film was announced in October, producer Jason Blum said (via The Hollywood Reporter): "Five Nights at Freddy's is more consistently asked about than any other film I've ever worked on, and I'm thrilled to confirm it's finally happening.
"With Emma Tammi at the helm, we're committed to making Scott's vision of the movie come to life. Rest assured, it will be and is worth the wait."
Five Nights at Freddy's will be released in cinemas and on Peacock in the US on October 27. It will also be released in UK cinemas on October 27.
