Five suspects arrested after man found stabbed in house and three others in street in Norwich

Four men in Norwich have been taken to hospital with stab wounds, police have said.

Officers are investigating the stabbings after they were called to a property in Hemming Way shortly after 5pm on Wednesday.

A man in his 20s was found inside with stab wounds.

Fifteen minutes later, the ambulance service reported three men had been found nearby on Marriott's Way, near Barker Street, with stab wounds.

They were all taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where two of the men remain in critical condition.

The other two have serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

Five men have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing, Norfolk Constabulary added.

A number of police cordons have been put in place in the area in connection with the incident.

The force said it is being treated as an isolated incident and officers do not believe there is a wider threat to the public.
