Flash Flooding Leaves Cars Stuck Along Highway in New Mexico

Cars were left stranded on a highway in southern New Mexico on Wednesday, June 19, as a severe storm brought hail and flash flooding to the region.

Drone footage captured by Chad Casey shows a long line of vehicles stuck in muddy floodwaters along State Road 42 near Willard on Wednesday evening.

“The traffic was stuck for miles,” Casey told Storyful.
