BARGAIN hunters are in for a real treat as a charity flea market selling all different kinds of second-hand goods is coming to the Five Valleys Shopping Centre.

The market will be held in the car park on Sunday, July 21, between 11am and 3pm.

Visitors will get the chance to take a look around dozens of stalls selling everything from vintage ornaments and clothing to bric-a-brac.

The event is being held to support Allsorts, which provides a range of activities for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities, as well as support groups for the whole family.

Based at their Activity Hub in the Brunel Mall in Stroud, they provide a community where friendship and memories are made and plenty of fun is to be had through their huge amount of extra-curricular activities including toddler groups, youth clubs and sports activities.

Kelly Winkworth, assistant centre manager at Five Valleys, said: “This is an ideal opportunity to have a root around and to see if you have any vintage items that you might have hidden away in the attic or elsewhere.

“We have some spots left for the market, so if anyone is interested in having a stall please come forward and get in touch.”

Spaces cost £10, with 50 per cent of this going to the Allsorts charity. (Any profit made by attendees will be their own).

The event will be held on the top level of the multi-storey car park.

Only part of the top level will be used for the market and the rest of the multi-storey will be open as normal for visitors to use.

The entrance and exits will also remain open as normal.

Free parking will also be given to all confirmed market traders (car registration will need to be provided).

Due to car park restrictions, the max height for vehicles is two metres.

You will need to bring your own table.
