Fleur East says Strictly Come Dancing has been 'a blessing' for her marriage
Fleur East has said Strictly Come Dancing has been "a blessing" for her marriage.
The former X Factor star is currently competing on the BBC ballroom show and said it has been great for her romance with her hubby Marcel Badiane-Robin, who she has been with since 2010 and tied the knot with in 2019.
She opened up on The Graham Norton Show as she was quizzed about the so-called 'Strictly curse'.

“The show’s been a blessing for my marriage, it’s been great," said the star.
"We’ve been together for 12 years and how often in your marriage do you dress up and look different every week, and get to do all these sexy dances in front of your husband?
"After the Argentine tango it was like we got married again!"
"It was wonderful," she added.
East, 35, is paired with pro dancer Vito Coppola on the show and the pair have made it to the final few in the competition.
During the Blackpool show, they wowed viewers and the judges with their routine to a Destiny’s Child Megamix and received a perfect score of 40.
It was the first perfect score of the 2022 series.
“It is the most iconic week of the show and to get there and score so well was incredible," East said as she talked about it on Graham Norton.

"Especially as it has been rough being in the dance off twice and having lots of harsh criticism.”
