Flooding in New Delhi Causes Traffic Jams

“Extremely heavy” rainfall caused flooding and travel problems in New Delhi on Friday, June 28, as some parts of the city received several inches of rain over a 24-hour period according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Delhi Traffic Police reported flood-hampered travel in the city on Friday. Video from them shows commuters on a water-logged road in the south of the city.
