Florida Firefighters Coax Ducklings Out of Storm Drain With Video of Mother Duck

Firefighters in Bonita Springs, Florida, used the sound of a mother duck to help coax eight ducklings out of a storm drain on Monday, April 22.

A crew from the Bonita Springs Fire Control and Rescue District used a video they recorded of the mother duck calling out for its ducklings to help lure them out of the drain.

Footage posted to the department’s Facebook page shows the ducklings being plucked from the drain one by one as the mother duck circles rescue workers.
