Fans heading to the Foo Fighters gig at Cardiff's Principality Stadium have been given a weather warning on what is set to be one of the hottest days of the year so far. Temperatures are set to hit highs of 28°C in the Welsh capital on Tuesday (June 25) as the band brings their All or Nothing Tour to the city.

Last week the roof was closed for Taylor's Swift's gig, but it will be open for the latest major band to perform at the stadium. You can find the set list times and parking advice for the gig here.

Organisers have said free water dispensers will be available inside the arena and have told fans to make sure they keep hydrated as temperatures soar. Forecasters have said that Wales will experience a "warm and muggy" night on Tuesday. Follow live updates throughout the day as Foo Fighters set to perform in Cardiff

The Met Office forecast for Wales on Tuesday says: "Any morning low cloud and mist patches will soon clear to leave a very warm, locally hot day across the region. Small chance of an isolated afternoon shower across the far north. Winds staying light throughout the day. Maximum temperature 28 °C."

For later, it adds: "A fine evening to come, with plenty of sunshine ahead of dusk. Prolonged clear spells overnight, with some low cloud or mist patches returning. A warm and muggy night. Minimum temperature 12 °C."

It will be the legendary band's first Welsh date since 2007 when they played on the bill alongside Oasis at the Noise and Confusion gig. A stint of big gig events at Cardiff's Principality Stadium is already in full swing as Wales has welcomed Bruce Springsteen, Pink and Taylor Swift over the last couple of weeks.
