Footage Shows Man Named as Gilroy Suspect at High School Graduation in 2017

Nineteen-year-old Santino William Legan, the man identified by CBS and AP as the suspect in the shooting at the Gilroy Garlic Festival in California on July 28, graduated from Gilroy High School on June 8, 2017, as seen in this footage.

Legan’s graduation ceremony was held outside the school, just down the street from Christmas Hill Park, where the Gilroy Garlic Festival was held.

A gunman opened fire at the festival, killing at least three people and wounded 15 more before being fatally shot by police. Police said gunshots were heard at 5.41 pm, and that the gunman was shot dead a short time later. Police also said they were investigating whether a second person was involved.
