Footage Shows Rescuers Working Amid Plane Wreckage in Karachi

A Pakistan International Airlines passenger plane crashed near Jinnah International Airport in Karachi on May 22, local reports citing the airline said.

This footage was taken at the crash site in Model Colony, a residential neighborhood, by JDC Foundation Pakistan, a local NGO.

A spokesman from the airline was quoted in Dawn as saying 90 passengers and eight crew were aboard. The airline stated that the flight was taking people from Lahore to Karachi for Eid holidays following a coronavirus lockdown in the country.
