Elon Musk’s giant Gigafactory has robots roaming around the manufacturing floor.

The Gigafactory, of course, is the ginormous battery plant Tesla is building to make batteries for its cars and for its energy products, like the Powerwall and the Powerpack. The factory is expected to be the biggest building in the world in footprint and the second-largest building in the world in volume.

In March, images leaked of the inside of the Gigafactory. We ran a story showing the images, which included several pictures of mobile robots called “automated guided vehicles” (AGVs). However, at Tesla’s request, we removed the images.

But now, we have images of what appear to be the same robots roaming around the Gigafactory thanks to a new video clip  shared by Vice. The clip comes from an interview Vice did with Musk for its new episode “The Future of Energy.” The new episode airs Friday evening on HBO at 11 pm EST.

AGVs are commonly used in manufacturing settings for moving items from one point to another.

The robots navigate on their own by following magnetic tape on the ground. They are also equipped with sensors and a laser system to help guide them.

Besides the AGVs, the Gigafactory is also equipped with robotic arms that assist humans in making the battery packs at the plant, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

We’ll be tuning into Vice’s special to see if we spot any more robots on site, and update you with what else Musk shows off inside the Gigafactory.
