When Thursday's Bachelor in Paradise kicked off, Olivia Lewis still felt shafted by Will Urena forgoing on a date with Kylee Russell.

But then the guy Kylee, 25, originally hoped to meet — Aven Jones from Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey’s Bachelorette season — arrived at the beach with a date card.

“Aven is fine,” Olivia, 24, said in an on-camera interview. “If Kylee gets to take Will, I get to take Aven.”

Aven, 29, pulled Kylee to talk, which made Will, 30, nervous. “The best-case scenario is he takes Olivia on a date,” he told Blake Moynes.

Aven also spoke to Olivia, but ultimately chose Kylee to go on the date. “That one hurt because I wanted to go on the date,” Olivia said in an interview.

It hurt Will, too.

“My soul left my body,” Will said in his own interview. “My anxiety’s though the roof. I do not know what to do. All I’m thinking is, ‘God, please take me with you right now.’”

Before leaving for the date, Kylee told Will that her going out with Aven was “only going to build us stronger.”

“I just want to think before I do and really ensure that this is what I’m wanting,” she continued.

Kylee and Aven headed out on a boat and he attempted to open a bottle of champagne — to no avail. He eventually broke the cork and needed to use a wine bottle opener to get it out.

“I’m not surprised of how much I like you in person,” Aven said to Kylee, alluding to their past social media flirtation.

They kissed, and Kylee immediately started picturing forever with Aven. “I would love waking up next to him every single day for the rest of my life,” she mooned.

BURNING QUESTIONS

Back on the beach, Mercedes Northup thought Aaron Bryant was “playing games” because he started hanging out with Eliza Isichei after they made out the previous night.

Eliza, 27 said she “got triggered” after Aaron B., 30, told her “that me and Mercedes had, like, a moment last night” because she’d been involved in a love triangle the previous summer.

Eliza told the other ladies that she had “no idea” about Aaron B. and Mercedes, 25, and “would have moved so differently today if I knew what had happened.”

Aaron B. admitted to Eliza that he “didn’t do this exactly right,” but Eliza forgave him.

“I like really like you and I think that’s why I just had a whole moment right now, because I don’t think I realized how much I liked you,” Eliza told Aaron B.

Then, former Bachelorette Hannah Brown arrived and host Jesse Palmer gave her a card. Hannah, 28, chatted with some of the men, and the women worried she might steal their guys.

“She is the Taylor Swift of Bachelor Nation,” Jess said of Hannah.

Hannah ultimately informed the group that “I have found love and my happily ever after, so I will not be joining you on the beach.” Instead, she’d be hosting a bonfire where she asked the cast burning questions.

Hannah began by asking Catherine “Cat” Wong and Brooklyn Willie who they wanted to connect with and kiss — and they both said Peter Cappio.

When Sean McLaughlin said he felt “great” about the status of his relationship with Rachel, 27, Hannah asked him who else he had his eyes on in Paradise. She also asked Blake, 32, if he was open to meeting other people besides Jess, 24.

“I don’t know if I would risk ruining Jess and I’s connection with anyone else here at the moment, but I would say I would be still open to the potential if someone came down,” Blake replied.

Jess admitted to the cameras that Blake’s response “kind of left a bad taste in my mouth.”

While Brayden Bowers insisted to Hannah that he had a “a one-track mind” for Kat Izzo when asked who else he would want to go on a date with, Kat, 26, said she hoped for some other arrivals — specifically Tyler Norris from Rachel and Gabby Windey’s season and Tanner Courtad from Charity Lawson’s season.

Hannah wrapped by asking Olivia who she would want to send home, and Olivia of course said Kylee.

When Kylee and Aven returned, Kylee talked to Will about how it went.

“You’re literally everything and more that I could ask for in a life partner,” she told Will. “But, like, I think today I was just ... there was a spark for Aven and I. it just kind of was like undeniable.”

Will admitted in an interview, “I’m bummed. I’m upset.”

FIRST ROSE CEREMONY

Will forgot all about Kylee when Mercedes expressed interest in him at the cocktail party.

“It feels good to be chosen,” he admitted. “It feels good that it feels true.”

So good, in fact, that it brought Will to tears while he cuddled with Mercedes and informed her that she shares a name with his grandma. "Look at God," she said.

Meanwhile, Cat, 26, Olivia and Greer Blitzer scrambled to get Peter’s rose, the only one seemingly up for grabs. But Peter, 33, wanted to go for Samantha “Sam” Jeffries, who formed a bond with Aaron Schwartzman.

Peter decided to talk to Sam, 28, and ask her Peter ask her whether she saw a “red flag or maturity thing” with Aaron S., 34.

Word got back to Aaron S. about the conversation, and Aaron S. confronted Peter. Aaron S. asked Peter if he called him immature to Sam, 27, and after denying it for a while, Peter eventually confessed, “I used the word ‘immature.’”

The rose ceremony began with Brayden giving his rose to Kat, followed by Blake offering his to Jess and Aaron B. presenting his to Eliza. Will continued by giving his rose to Mercedes, Sean’s went to Rachel and Aven gave a rose to Kylee. Aaron S. still wanted Sam to have his rose despite the dustup, and in the end, Peter offered his rose to Olivia.

That meant Cat, Brooklyn and Greer had to leave Paradise.
