Another added: "He was always one of my favourites, such a tragic loss at such a young age"

While football account, Inside The SPFL posted: "Terrible news, N'Guemo was a player, his attitude was excellent and enthusiasm was infectious, it's a shame his move wasn't made permanent in 2010.

"38 is no age at all, feel for his loved ones, car accident, it further highlights how precious but unpredictably cruel life can be."

Fans of rival team Rangers also posted their condolences, with one tweeting: "This is absolutely tragic. I remember him being your best player under Mowbray, I was glad yous didn’t sign him permanently, he was a real classy defensive midfielder. 38 is no age. Very sad."
