Former EastEnders actor charged with child sex offences

A former EastEnders star has been charged following a string of child sex offences against young girls.

Joseph Shade played Ian Beale [Adam Woodyatt]’s son, Peter, for six years between 1998 and 2004.

Now aged 23, Joseph has been accused of abusing four young girls.

The former child star has been charged with abuse of a position of trust, sexual activity with a girl, and inciting sexual activity with a girl.

Youth worker Joseph has not yet entered a plea but Eastern Daily Press report that he has been charged by Norfolk Police’s Child Abuse Investigation Unit.

Speaking to The Sun, a police spokesman explained that the alleged offences occurred between December 2012 and March 2015, but the ages of his victims is not yet known.

Joseph appeared before Norwich Magistrates’ on the 18th of November and released on bail, he is due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on the 16th of December.
