Former EastEnders' Star Sam Strike Tweets Support To Danny Dyer Amid Mark Wright Feud

He may have left EastEnders over a year ago but actor Sam Strike clearly hasn’t forgotten his roots as he tweeted his support to his former onscreen father, Danny Dyer, amid reports that the star was “kicked in the head” by Mark Wright’s friends at V Festival.

The cockney favourite has understandably been left fuming after five of the TOWIE star’s pals attacked him in front of his daughter, Dani, who one of the men allegedly “squared up” to, with security at the festival eventually pulling them away.

Sam took to Twitter last night to offer his support to the Dyer clan, writing: “5 on 1? I mean, how terrified of one man must they have been? In front of his kid too. Shameful cowards and embarrassing.”

When 20-year-old Dani retweeted his message alongside a heart emoji, Sam messaged her: “Like why go out of his way to make himself look like a little girl? Thought he was all about ‘geezer self promotion’ #Essex .

"Sending all the love to your family.

"Lucky your dad is made of pie 'n’ mash filled cockney blood and not hairspray and veneers. Dread to think the other way round.”

Dani quipped back: “Hahhaa Sam I love it, never fail to make a joke. They’re just fake looking Ken dolls.

"You seen the state of them? They all look the same with their spray-on jeans and slicked back hair. It is funny haha.”

Sam later apologised for “ranting” about the altercation, tweeting to his hundreds of thousands of followers: “To square up to a woman? Ain’t that the epitome of pondscum lowlife?

"Geezer must hate himself, his mother must be so ashamed.

"Apologies for the rant, something about that type of violence makes my blood boil. All love.”

When news of the attack broke Dani took to social media to share that her dad is the “strongest person” she knows, adding: “My heart is broken as I witnessed the whole thing.

"My dad is such a sensitive, loving person who would never hurt a fly.

"5 on 1 is never fair but I love you papa.”

Danny responded: “No daughter should have to see their old man being toe-punted in the nut by five complete pricks.

"I’m sweet, bae.”

Mark took to Twitter to give his side of the story, writing: “Seen some stories online today about V Festival.

"I would like to confirm that I personally wasn’t involved in any physical confrontation.”

Danny retweeted the message and agreed that this was the case, but asked the reality star to reveal who his friends were, which Mark has ignored.
