Yahoo News Former Hollyoaks star Emmett J Scanlan announces name of baby son
Former Hollyoaks star Emmett J Scanlan has revealed the name of his newborn baby, after he and fellow 'oaks alumni Claire Cooper welcomed their first baby together last week.
The actor, who played Brendan Brady in the Channel 4 soap, shared a black and white photo of the little one to his Twitter, adding the caption: "Hey world, meet my world. Our world. Meet Ocean-Torin Scanlan."

Bronagh Waugh, who played Brendan's sister Cheryl on Hollyoaks, responded to the post, writing: "Ach Emmett he's absolutely gorgeous!! Welcome to the world wee Ocean!! There is so much love here, can't wait for you to discover it."
Spencer Wilding, who was in Guardians of the Galaxy with Emmett, wrote: "He's gorgeous!!", while Derry Girls creator Lisa McGee added: "Very very very cute".
In response to McGee, Emmett (dad) joked: "We expect the beard to start growing by the end of week two."

Emmett and Claire tied the knot back in 2015, having started dating back in 2010 while both on Hollyoaks. He has a daughter named Kayla from a previous relationship.
Hollyoaks was airing Mondays and Tuesdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, while first-look episodes aired on E4 at 7pm. Wednesdays through Fridays on E4 featured classic episodes called Hollyoaks Favourites, but a new series called Holloaks@25 will begin on Monday (July 27) on E4 at 7pm.
