Former Liverpool target Khephren Thuram could be available for £13million, according to reports.

The Reds considered a move for the OGC Nice midfielder last summer but moved to sign Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru Endo in their midfield reshuffle. Stalwarts Jordan Henderson and Fabinho moved onto new pastures which accelerated Jurgen Klopp's business in the transfer window.

Thuram was heavily linked with a move to Anfield but nothing materialised as he remained in Ligue 1, where he has made 25 appearances this season. In a report from local French outlet, Nice-Matin, it is claimed the 23-year-old could be available for £13m as he enters the final 12 months of his deal.

It has been claimed that Juventus, Barcelona and Manchester United are also interested in the midfielder, as well as his teammate Jean-Clair Todibo, as the French club looks set to off-load some of their talent.

Last summer, it was suggested that Thuram was valued in the region of £25m despite moves for Mac Allister and Szoboszlai.

Speaking in November, Thuram revealed that he opted to remain in France to further his development under Francesco Farioli. He said: "Regarding what happened in the transfer window, I decided to stay.

"I wanted to continue to progress at Nice, and progress as a player at this club. Honestly, it made me happy to be linked to all these clubs left, right and centre. It shows I'm doing the right things but as I said, I knew I wanted to stay here."

There is change on the horizon at Anfield as Klopp prepares to bid farewell to the club after nine years. Liverpool take on Wolves on Sunday to bring down the curtain on another Premier League campaign.

Feyenoord manager Arne Slot is set to become the next Reds manager as a deal with the Dutch club edges closer. The Mirror has suggested that the bargain price for the one-time Liverpool target could be an option to become the 45-year-old's first signing.
