Former Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson marries partner Sam Morrison

Neighbours actress Bonnie Anderson has married her partner Samuel Morrison in a ceremony in Victoria.

She played Bea Nilsson on the Australian soap, and is also the winner of Australia's Got Talent season 1 and The Masked Singer Australia season 2, while her now-husband is a landscaper.

The pair both uploaded a black and white photo from the big day to their Instagram accounts, showing Samuel lifting his partner up while she puts her arms around his shoulders.

"Mr and Mrs Morrison," the caption reads.

The pair announced their engagement in April 2022, and confirmed that they were expecting to become parents shortly after that, before Anderson welcomed her first child last December.

Her main Neighbours stint lasted between 2018 and 2021, which included her singing a version of the soap's theme tune. She made a brief guest stint recently for the soap's revival, as part of the flashback scenes that filled in some of the plot details that had been teased since the grand return.

When she announced her departure from the soap, Anderson's co-star Jackie Woodburne admitted that she was very upset about it, stating: "We've had a wonderful time with her. She's grown from a very inexperienced, very nervous actor, to a much more controlled and relaxed performer.

"She's always had a big career in music and we've always been aware that she's an astonishing singer... She won The Masked Singer over here [in Australia] and that was just sensational for Bonnie. So we're not surprised but we're very sad. She's going to go off and achieve her goals."

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.
