Fox Hires Google’s Rachel Berk For Platform Distribution Role
EXCLUSIVE: Fox is staffing up in its platform distribution team.
The company has hired Google exec Rachel Berk as SVP, Distribution, Platform Partnerships. In the newly created role, Berk will manage partnerships for Fox brands including Tubi across connected TV services.

Reporting to BJ Elias, EVP of Distribution, Advanced Services, Berk will lead the platform distribution team, responsible for the domestic and international distribution of connected TV services from Fox brands including Tubi, Fox Sports, Fox Local, Fox News and Fox Nation across platforms including Amazon, Roku and Samsung.
Before joining Fox, Berk worked at Google for seven years, most recently their Head of Media Deals and Commercial Programs for Android. In this role, she led the deals team responsible for negotiating platform distribution agreements with media partners. Prior to that, she worked in business development where she led partner direct-to-consumer launches on Android and worked on product strategy for Google TV.
Prior to joining Google, she spent ten years working in film production and development at MGM, Illumination Entertainment and film financier Night & Day Pictures.
