Missing Scots teenager 'travelling with older woman' found

A frantic to trace a missing Scots teen believed to be travelling with an older woman has concluded.

Megan Docherty has been traced.

The 18-year-old was last seen on the morning of Tuesday, June 25.

Police said she may be travelling with an older woman in a blue Kia Sportage, registration SK73 DYM.

Following investigations, police confirmed the teen has been found.

A Police Scotland statement reads: "Megan Docherty, who was reported missing from Linlithgow, has been traced safe and well. Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."

Anyone who can help is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3698 of Tuesday, 25 June, 2024.
