French Students Clash with Police at Protest Over Schools Being Open Amid Pandemic

Clashes between police and students of Mireille-Grenet high school, in Compiegne in northern France, broke out on November 9 amid protests over “insufficient” health measures in schools amid the COVID-19 pandemic, according to local reports.

In this video, protesters can be seen vandalising a police car as fires burning outside the school. A firefighter was reportedly attacked and injured during the clashes.
