Will Smith is making the dreams of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air fans come true with a much-anticipated reunion with the cast on his Snapchat series WFH Will from Home.

The actor best known for his longtime role in the NBC sitcom was virtually joined by Alfonso Ribeiro, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Daphne Maxwell Reid, Joseph Marcell and DJ Jazzy Jeff for the Wednesday and Thursday finale episodes of the Snap Originals series, which chronicled Smith’s self-quarantine.

Now, people can look forward to a fun reflection on Fresh Prince and how it changed the lives of everyone involved.

Most notably, how it turned Smith into a household name.

Smith credited Ribeiro, who played Carlton Banks, with the decision to keep Smith’s name the same for his character.

“It was such a deep insight that you had," Smith said. "You said because people are going to call you that for the rest of your life.”

Other actors from the show mentioned the things that they’ve taken into their real lives from the series. DJ Jazzy Jeff, known as Smith’s on-screen best friend Jeffrey “Jazzy Jeff” Townes, mentioned that for him, it was his and Smith’s handshake that seemed to haunt him.

“I got really, really annoyed that everybody wanted to do the handshake,” he said.

The cast also honoured the late James Avery, who played Uncle Phil, with a special tribute in the two-part season finale airing Wednesday and Thursday on Snapchat’s Discover page.

The actor died in 2013 aged 68 from complications following an open heart surgery.
