One of the co-creators of Friends is opening up about all that recent reunion speculation – but it's not good news.

Marta Kauffman – who recently revealed what she'd change about the show today – once again addressed the possibility of the cast reuniting for a project of some kind this week, but basically made it clear that it's never going to happen. Damn.

When asked by Associated Press if we'll ever get that reunion we're all DYING to see, she replied with a pretty firm no and said: “Why mess up a good thing? We wouldn’t want a reunion to disappoint fans.”

Marta's latest admission comes in response to Jennifer Aniston recently teasing during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she'd be open to getting back together and thinks her cast mates would be, too.

"Why not? You know what, because, listen, I told you this. I would do it... The girls would do it. And the boys would do it, I'm sure," the star – who played Rachel Green on the sitcom – said.

"Listen. Anything could happen."

She then explained her response while speaking to Entertainment Tonight, adding that even though she's open to the idea there's nothing in the works right now.

“Well, ‘no’ was getting me nowhere, and ‘maybe’ was getting me nowhere. So I thought I’d try ‘yes.’ See what would happen,” Jennifer joked.

“I have no idea though,” she then added. “There’s no plans in the immediate future.”
