Yahoo News Full line up of performers revealed for popular County Durham food festival
A full roster of street performers has been confirmed for this year's Seaham Food Festival as organisers confirm the first-ever dedicated music stage at the event.
Celebrated chef personalities Rosemary Shrager, Phil Vickery, and Paul Young are set to host food demonstrations, preparing their dishes for hundreds of traders, and of course, food enthusiasts as the two-day event, organised by Durham County Council, returns on August 3 and 4.
The festival promises its attendees a varied menu, accompanied by music and art.
For the first time in its history, the festival will feature a dedicated music stage at the North Road Amphitheatre.

It aims to spot a light on emerging talent and established musicians from the region.
The two-day festival will also be filled with music from different genres.
Saturday's line-up features indie and alternative bands, including Primaveras, Mick Arnell & The Kets, Vice Killer, and The Lake Poets.
Isabel Maria, the youngest recipient of the Alan Hull Award, will also be performing.
On Sunday, festival-goers can tap their feet to pop, country, jazz and rock and roll tunes from the likes of Rock Choir, Elaine Palmer, Emma Fisk’s Hot Club du Nord and The Revolutionaires.

Cabinet member for economy and partnerships, Cllr Elizabeth Scott, said: "We are looking forward to welcoming visitors back to County Durham’s coastline for Seaham Food Festival, which always proves to be a fun-filled weekend with lots of food to try and cooking demonstrations to watch.
"What makes our food festivals so atmospheric is the street entertainment which adds to the lively energy while people are enjoying all that Seaham has to offer."
The public can also expect street performances from towering culinary duo Hungry Chefs, golden treasures The Dinnerladies, circus street performer Daryll, the mesmerising Bubble Whisperer, and Bell & Bullock as Captain Monty Montague and his water-skiing wife Minty.
Arts and crafts fair will also be on display at the marquee at North Road Clifftop.
Here, visitors can create their own willow boat or fish with the assistance of artists from The Barn at Easington.
Shelley O’Brien of Mad Alice Theatre Company will also be hosting interactive storytelling sessions.
