Full Met Office weather forecast amid 'changeable week' in Greater Manchester

'Changeable' weather conditions are forecast for Greater Manchester this week - with temperatures feeling slightly cooler after a warm spell.

A mix of cloudy and rainy conditions are expected over the coming days amid some sunny spells, according to Met Office forecasters. Temperatures will also fall to 'below average' at times after a warm end to June.

Today (Tuesday), conditions are set to be largely overcast with some light rain forecast at around lunchtime in our region. Highs of around 17C are forecast.

Some heavy rain may then fall overnight into tomorrow morning before conditions turned cloudier through the day. It is set to feel slightly cooler with temperatures reaching a high of around 15C.

Thursday is predicted to be mostly cloudy, though there may be some sunny spells in Greater Manchester during the afternoon. Highs of around 16C are forecast.

On the overall outlook for the North West from Thursday to Saturday, the Met Office said: "Changeable with showers on Thursday. Drier on Friday with a chance of rain later.

"Brighter on Saturday though the odd shower. Breezy throughout. Temperatures a little below average."
