A second teenager has been charged with the murder of a cab driver who was found stabbed to death in his car in north London.

Gabriel Bringye, 37, was discovered slumped with a suspected knife wound in the parked vehicle in Tottenham at about 7.20pm on February 17.

Despite medics efforts, the private hire driver was pronounced dead at the scene at 8pm.

A 17-year-old was arrested on Saturday and was subsequently charged with the murder and appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

He was then remanded and appeared at the Old Bailey on Tuesday.

His charge comes just days after a 15-year-old boy was also charged for the murder of Mr Bringye and with handling stolen property in relation to a separate offence.

Mr Bringye, who lived locally, was a Romanian national who is said have been planning his wedding for later this year.

A friend told MailOnline: “It’s an awful tragedy. He was the nicest, most gentle human being you could meet. He wouldn’t harm a fly. We are all in shock.”
