Gail Porter says she didn't make the cut for 'Celebrity First Dates'
Gail Porter has said she was turned down for dating show Celebrity First Dates.
The TV presenter and former model was keen to go on the celebrity version of the Channel 4 programme in a bid to find love, but claims she was rejected.
Porter – who has alopecia and lost her hair suddenly in 2005 – told The Sun she didn’t think she was “right” for the show.

“I love First Dates. Me and my daughter are addicted. But they didn’t choose me,” she said.
“I don’t think I was right. When they ask a bloke about their ideal woman, they probably don’t say bald or short.
“I’m cracking on a bit. I’m not the most beautiful person you’ve ever seen. But then I always think I’m not good enough.”

Porter, 50, said she couldn’t think of anything better than “having a hug every single night”.
The star used to be married to Toploader's Dan Hipgrave and they share 18-year-old daughter Honey, but split several years ago.
Porter said she has thought about using dating apps to meet someone.
But she admitted she was worried about who she might meet on Tinder and was put off of Raya – which many celebs are said to use - after being told she would have to pay for the service.

“I’m not paying to get laid,” she told The Sun. “I’m not that desperate, I’ll just get another cat.”
First Dates has aired on Channel 4 since 2013, and has sparked spin-offs such as First Dates Hotel and the celebrity edition.
