The second season of Guillermo del Toro's animated Netflix series Trollhunters is coming together, and he's cast some major names from Star Wars, Game of Thrones and Doctor Who.

Luke Skywalker himself Mark Hamill, Westeros' very own Lena Headey and David Bradley, who's appeared in both Game of Thrones and Doctor Who (oh, and Harry Potter), have all joined the esteemed voice cast.

According to Deadline, Hamill will be playing an evil older brother to one of the Trollhunting team, Headey will star as an evil sorceress and Bradley will voice a mysterious character with magical powers.

Trollhunters follows an ordinary boy who finds a magic amulet that turns him into the next Trollhunter – the champion of both the hidden world of Trolls and his own.

The new cast members will join the season 1 team, which wasn't exactly lacking in star quality either: Kelsey Grammer, Ron Perlman, Steven Yeun, Anjelica Huston, Jonathan Hyde, Amy Landecker and Charlie Saxton.

The late Anton Yelchin voices the lead role of Jim Lake Jr, and he will be heard in the new episodes as he finished recording season 2 before his tragic death last year.

Trollhunters also picked up a few big-time awards earlier in the year, winning Creative Arts Daytime Emmys for writing (Marc Guggenheim), directing (Rodrigo Blaas, del Toro), casting (Ania O'Hare, Mary Hildalgo) and voice acting (Grammer).

The 13-episode second season is due to premiere on Netflix later in 2017.
