Yahoo News Game of Thrones star's foot injury leaves her out of action for "six weeks"
Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey has revealed that she has suffered a foot injury that has left her in a cast for the next six weeks.
Headey, who played Cersei Lannister in the HBO fantasy, and has also starred in 300, Dredd and Gunpowder Milkshake, shared the unfortunate news on her Instagram.
Alongside a photo of her feet, with her right leg in a cast and two crutches, Headey wrote: "F**k. 6 weeks. One Birk only."

The comments were full of fans wishing the actress a speedy recovery, as well as former Thrones co-star Nathalie Emmanuel, which led to fans joking that it was nice of her to say, considering Cersei was responsible for Missandei's death.
"Oh nooooo! Hope you have a speedy recovery!" Emmanuel wrote, whilst EastEnders' Tamzin Outhwaite shared: "Hope it's not too painful, much love."
Meanwhile, earlier this year it was announced that Headey has been cast in the series The Abandons, a Western series from Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter.

The show's official synopsis reads: "As a group of diverse, outlier families pursue their Manifest Destiny in 1850s Oregon, a corrupt force of wealth and power, coveting their land, tries to force them out. Headey will be playing a devout matriarch, driven by "her faith and love for her family", while Gillian Anderson will star alongside her as a woman who has inherited a huge fortune, and then doubled it using her ruthlessness.
Game of Thrones seasons 1-8 are available on DVD and Blu-ray. House of the Dragon airs on HBO in the US, and on Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK.
