Game of Thrones isn't the most ideal show to watch with your parents – what with all the sex, nudity, and Jon Snow's bum – so spare a thought for the cast, some of whom were actual children when they first started working on the series.

Isaac Hempstead Wright was just 10 years young when he took on the role of Bran Stark, and unfortunately for his parents, it didn't take long for him to encounter his very first sex scene.

While chatting to Jimmy Kimmel Live about how his parents explained some of the more... adult themes of the series, Isaac admitted that his mum had to teach him about incest.

Reflecting on the scene where Bran discovers brother-and-sister duo Jaime and Cersei Lannister going at it, Isaac revealed that he was aware what his character had seen.

"I was pretty much told what was going on, but it just meant my mum had to give me the sex talk a little earlier," he said, "and with some topics that probably aren't covered by general sex talks, such as [incest]."

In other sex-related Game of Thrones news, Emilia Clarke – aka Daenerys Targaryen – has opened up about the number of nude scenes in the series, insisting that she would "never change anything" about them.

"There's not one part of the show that I would go back and redo. People ask me the nudity question all the time. But the short answer is no, I would never change anything.

"You had to see those sex scenes, as they couldn't just be explained."
