Gemma Atkinson was left responding 'as if' after asking for her fans' help over her new home visitor. Those who follow the Hits Radio host on social media will know that she's acquired a couple of squirrel friends in the garden of her Greater Manchester home.

The arrival of 'Freddie' saw Gemma turn to getting a squirrel house for her garden and now her baby appears to have joined her with Gemma and her daughter Mia regularly looking out for their daily return.

But much to her fiance Gorka Marquez's faux disapproval, Gemma revealed that they appeared to have a new guest while he's away on tour with his Strictly Come Dancing co-stars.

Taking to her Instagram Story, the 39-year-old could be heard saying as she walked into the garden and towards a pile of freshly dug mud: "Just been feeding Freddie and look, this is here. What animal has left that? Is it a mole? Are we going to have a little pet mole as well? Oh My Gosh, we're going to have dogs and birds and squirrels and moles," she added. "A little mole rat, what is it? Does anyone know?"

Gemma then captioned the post captioned the post by echoing the question before she went on to joke about how she believed her Spanish partner would react when he saw her video. The mum-of-two wrote: "Gorka when he sees this: 'Fa fa*ksaak Gemah wot is now?'"(sic)

After receiving a number of messages from many of her followers, the former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks star returned to her Instagram Story to give an update. "So, we've established that it is a molehill, apparently," she said but went on to share how she was "shocked" that many of the replies suggested that she should get rid of the mole putting down a trap or using poison.

Not impressed by the suggestion, she said: "Can you imagine? Sorry Mr Mole, I know you lived here first peacefully in your field, but we've decided to dig up the land and build our house here, so now you're in our way, so we're going to kill you. God no!" before saying she was happy to "live alongside" the mole and allow her children to muck in should the garden get too hilly.

Meanwhile, Gorka, 33, shared his response after Gemma shared a screengrab of their WhatsApp chat in which she had to explain what a mole was but sending him a photo. "That's a mole. How cute are they with their little hands and nose," Gemma told him.

The dancer replied with crying laughing and face-palm emojis. "By the time I am from tour we're gonna have a ZOO at home," Gorka then added in view of his fans and followers.
