Gemma Atkinson says 'he did it' as she shares adorable family milestone with Gorka

Gemma Atkinson has taken to Instagram to share an adorable family milestone with her followers. The 39-year-old Hits Radio host regularly keeps her fans up-to-date with what's going on in her life, from work commitments to home life with Gorka Marquez and their two children.

The former Emmerdale actress, who is a proud mum to Mia and Thiago, took to her Instagram page on Monday (June 24) to share an update with her two million followers. To make the most out of the sunshine, Gemma and Thiago, the pair's second child who was born in July 2023, headed out into the garden.

It was then when the almost one-year-old surprised his mum by taking a few steps on his own. Luckily, the radio presenter had captured the sweet moment on her phone, and then took to Instagram to share it with her fans.

The caption read: "Exploring in the garden. He definitely walked on his own didn't he?! I keep watching it back but he did!! [clapping emoji."

Fans and friends then took to the comments section to reassure the mum, with fellow radio presenter Mike Toolan writing: "He deffo did!! Way to go Tio. Get him to do split squats now."

@lynnetaylor1987 said: "Yep he did. Now enjoy the chaos that comes with chasing two kids running in opposite directions," as xxchristina12xx responded: "He did he did he deffo did," as @my_favourites_food added: "Oh what a wonderful moment captured."

On Sunday, Gemma had met up with former Strictly pro Aljaž Škorjanec for a play date with their children. Sharing a video to her Instagram story, she said: "Lyra came to play and Alijaz came to eat lots of food! As cute as this video is, all I can think is, thank god we didn't have twins."

Alijaz then shared an adorable picture to his own page, tagging his partner Janette Manrara as well as Gemma and Gorka. The caption read: "Buddies," and Gemma then commented: "Mia will not stop talking about looking after 'her babies'."
