Gemma Collins 'found collapsed at her make-up artist's home'

She had to pull out of a club appearance in Sheffield last week after being struck down with cystitis.

And this morning Gemma Collins was reportedly found collapsed in her make-up artist’s bathroom, and “immediate medical attention” was called for her.

Gemma Collins was reportedly found collapsed in her make-up artist’s bathroom today.

A source told The Sun: “Gemma had filming commitments this morning but everything has ground to a halt following her shock collapse.

“She was getting ready for the day at her makeup artist Lisa’s home and then nipped to the bathroom.

“The next thing Lisa knew was that Gemma had fallen to the floor – so she called for immediate medical attention and may now need to go to hospital.”

Gemma was due to shoot scenes for TOWIE later in the day but that has been “put on hold” following the incident.

The source added: “Gemma has struggled with some ill health recently after suffering with kidney stone symptoms.

“Family and friends are hoping that she will make a rapid recovery but for now TOWIE filming has been put on hold.”

Last night, Gemma posted a number of videos on Instagram of a night out with her former flame James ‘Arg’ Argent.

The blonde star, who could be heard singing in the clips, admitted she was “so proud” of her TOWIE co-star and loves hanging out with him.

She wrote: “I love to see you sing I will watch this so many times lol over and over ha ha (sic)”

In another caption, she admitted it was the “best Christmas present ever” to be out with a singing Arg.

Last month, Gemma was left nursing a bad back and bruises after she dramatically fell through a trap door on stage at BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards.

She insisted afterwards she was lucky to be alive after the tumble, and spoke about taking possible legal action against the BBC.

Gemma said: “I’ve got to consult a lawyer, yeah. The BBC, they’ve not been in touch with any compensation or anything – or even an apology.

“It’s very important this gets sorted out because really you know what it is – it’s negligence. Do you know what I find shocking? The BBC hasn’t sent any flowers. Nothing.”

But BBC insiders later insisted Gemma had been given a “full briefing” before she took to the stage and was warned about the trap door, from which a hydraulic platform lifted out Love Island stars Amber Davies, Jamie Jewitt and Marcel Somerville.

Yahoo Celebrity has contacted a representative of Gemma for comment.
