Gemma Collins: I thought I was having a heart attack

The reality star explained she dialled 999 because she thought she was having a heart attack.

Gemma Collins has revealed she called an ambulance because she believed she was having a heart attack.

The 42-year-old The Only Way Is Essex star reassured her 2.2 million followers she is "all good" as she explained she had dialled 999 after suffering chest pains.

Collins said in a video on her Instagram stories: "Just to say thank you for all your well wishes.

"I had a terrible shock last night - I had terrible chest pains, I thought I was having a heart attack. Thank God it wasn't that. I will go into it all later."

She went on: "The NHS were incredible, I had such a great experience with them, I really hope they get all their pay raises because they just work so hard.

"I'm just very happy to not have died from a heart attack last night."

The reality TV star also shared backstage footage from a photoshoot she was attending the day after she called an ambulance late at night.

She said: "I'm alive! Nothing stops me from working... I have to work, I'll never let anyone down, so I'm here. All good guys, all good."

Collins had earlier shared a photo of a paramedic administering medical care on the floor of her kitchen, as well as a picture of an ambulance parked in front of her home in her Instagram stories.

She captioned the images: "Thank you to all the amazing people that helped me this evening."

And in reference to the recent ambulance driver strikes she added: "I really hope you get all you deserve. Really thankful in these current times to have such an amazing service."

Earlier that day Collins had shared a video of herself receiving a home facial treatment and said she was feeling "zen and peaceful" after three hours of relaxation.

Last year Collins' fiancé Rami Hawash received horrific injuries to his eyes and nose after an accident at work, where he owns a car mechanical repairs company.

She said at the time: "We hope that he’s going to get the sight back in his eye, but I did reassure him that if he went blind or if he was going to lose his eye, that I’m still going to be with him because you don’t think about all those things."

The couple have been in an on-off relationship since 2011 and are now hoping to become parents.

Speaking about having a baby in 2021, Collins said: "I am trying to have a baby. I have been with my partner for a while, we don’t use condoms now.

"The baby is going to be adored. I haven’t had a baby yet, but I speak as if I have as I am trying to cosmic order it up.

"I am going to be a chilled mum and I am not going to force my child into doing anything. It’s going to be so happy for me. The child is going to be like royalty."

The reality TV star has been diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome and has suffered several miscarriages.
